Take a private lesson with me at my newly renovated and private studio. We will have the entire studio to ourselves. Clay and tools provided. What to expect: After booking online, I will follow up with you through email or phone call to plan out what you want to learn. When you arrive for your lesson, tools will be set up for you. We will discuss as much as you want and you can throw as many pieces as you want. Cleanup time is part of the booking so please use time efficiently. The main objective is to learn the process, not create a product. Pots will not be kept. The reason for this is because the steps to trim, bisque fire, glaze, and then glaze fire, all take time and cannot be done in one sitting. This is the beauty and reality of ceramics; YOUR pot means YOUR hand only in the process. So I cannot offer to finish the pots for you. Pots that are thrown by you should be finished by you, otherwise it wouldn't be your work :) If you want to keep the pieces and want to come back and trim or glaze, you will need to book another private lesson. Close to the F,G,Q trains, as well as many buses. Address will be texted to you once details are confirmed. A high powered ventilation unit clears the air, and the water system is unique to keep the studio clean.
PRIVATE LESSONS: Due to the limited availability, I cannot offer refunds for cancellations within two days of the private lesson. Full refunds are offered if the cancellation happens before the two day period. However, it is free to reschedule. 6 WEEK CLASSES: Due to the limited availability, I cannot offer refunds for cancellations within two days of the first class. Full refunds are offered if the cancellation happens before the two day period.
